New YSS Facility in Monterrey Holds Grand Opening Ceremony
July 8, 2015

Our new YSS building in Monterrey is now officially open! A ceremony was held to welcome the building and its employees and celebrate the grand opening.

The ceremony started off with a welcoming message from Administration & Facilities Director Carlos González Guerra addressing our guests, directors, and managers, wishing future success to all.

YNCA President & CEO Nigel Thompson, Executive Vice President of Advanced Manufacturing Ryosuke Yazaki, Executive Vice President of the Electronic & Instrumentation Business Unit and Core Engineering Jim Romine, and Vice President of YSS David Conrad were present at the event. Together with Carlos González, the executive team proceeded to open the facility officially with a ribbon cutting.

“We are One Yazaki,” said Nigel. “Our new YSS facility in Monterrey confirms our operations in Mexico and serves as a strong heart that brings us together as a single global entity.”

Highlighting the importance of the working place in our lives, YSS invited local Reverend Roberto Figueroa to say a few inspirational words. “This is our home that with work, gratitude, desire to serve, and love will make us grow.” Afterwards, the reverend led a tour of the building’s four floors, imparting good fortune to the building.

Nigel Thompson addresses the YSS team, communicating the concept of “One Yazaki.”

To end the large ceremony, a video was shown to all the attendees and many large group photos were taken.

“Thank you to all who helped build and organize our new YSS facility,” commented Nigel. “We appreciate all of those who assisted with this large undertaking.”
