Why Yazaki?: I chose to work for Yazaki because they are a reputable Japanese company and they are very big in the automotive industry. I want to be able to help and make an impact on the company even if it’s a small one.
Fun Fact: I have studied Japanese language and culture for over 12 years. I began by teaching myself at the age of 10. Another fun fact about me is that I am the youngest of four children and I’m the only person in my family who was born in America.
Meet Emily Bara, GM Engineering intern from The University of Michigan Dearborn.

Why Yazaki?: I had some friends who had internships here a few years ago and they all had amazing experiences. I became really interested because I felt that Yazaki really let their interns get a taste of the working world. The interns get to be hands on and work on important projects. I am honored to be a part of this experience and I’m really excited about what the rest of the summer has to offer.
Fun Fact: I love to draw, paint, sculpt, or do any sort of craft!
Meet Ethan Boyd, Software Engineering intern from Michigan State University.
