Joseph McCorry Appointed Head of Commercial for Yazaki North & Central America

CANTON, Mich. — May 22, 2026 — Yazaki North & Central America (YNCA) today announced the appointment of Joseph McCorry as Head of Commercial, effective April 2026.
In this role, McCorry will lead multiple business units generating more than $5 billion in annual revenue, with responsibility for strengthening customer engagement, driving revenue growth, and aligning commercial strategy across the region.
McCorry joined Yazaki in 2022 and has held key leadership roles, including Vice President of Trans-Pacific Nikkei Operations (TPNO) and advisor to the Chief Operating Officer, supporting the company’s workforce of approximately 70,000 employees across North and Central America. His leadership has contributed to operational alignment and strategic execution across the organization.
Before joining Yazaki, McCorry held global and regional leadership positions at major tier-1 suppliers, where he built high-performing teams, advanced new technologies, and delivered customer-focused growth. His career spans the automotive, government, industrial, and marine sectors, bringing a broad perspective to Yazaki’s evolving business landscape.
Having lived and worked internationally in Japan, Singapore, and Germany, McCorry brings a strong global perspective to his new role. He is also actively engaged in industry advocacy, including meetings with U.S. leaders in Washington, D.C., and is a member of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and MEMA.

McCorry holds an MBA from the University at Buffalo and completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University.
