Yazaki North America Enters Service Agreement with NEXCO-West USA to Support Road Maintenance Initiatives in the U.S.

Canton, Mich. – Yazaki North America, Inc. (YNA) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Service Agreement with NEXCO-West USA (NEXCO), a leading provider of advanced road maintenance and inspection technologies in the United States. This agreement marks a significant step toward strengthening collaboration in the U.S.

Under the agreement, YNA supports NEXCO’s efforts to enhance road and bridge maintenance through the application of innovative technologies, with a focus on non-destructive evaluation (NDE) solutions.

Through this initiative, YNA aims to lay the groundwork for the potential future deployment of digital road maintenance software developed by Yazaki’s AI & Digital Division in the U.S. market.

As the first phase of this collaboration, YNA and NEXCO jointly conducted a bridge inspection project in the State of Minnesota in April 2025. The project utilized cutting-edge NDE technologies, including Infrared Thermography (IRT) and Ground-Penetrating Rader (GPR) to assess bridge deck conditions.

This partnership provides YNA with an opportunity to support safer and more efficient infrastructure management in the United States, while laying the groundwork to apply its technologies in overseas markets in the future.
