As General Manager and Vice President of Yazaki Service S. de R.L. de C. V. (YSS), David provides leadership and vision for YSS and oversees all aspects of the company to ensure services provided to YNCA meet the requirements of the organization.

Prior to his duties with YSS, David was on assignment to the parent company of Yazaki North & Central America, Yazaki Corporation, from January 2007 to April 2009 where he led the Global Logistics function from the Yazaki world headquarters in Japan. This assignment came a decade after David’s participation in the Yazaki Global Training Program in Japan, which included the study of Japanese language, culture and all functional areas of Yazaki Corporation.

Before his overseas assignment, he was the Corporate Compliance Officer and Vice President of Logistics. He has also held the titles of Vice President of Information Technologies and Global e-Business at Yazaki North America.

David joined Yazaki in 1994 as a result of the sale of the Acustar division of Chrysler Motors.  David worked on the design and development of electrical distribution systems and the tools used in the design and development process.

David has more than 20 years of computer systems and engineering experience. He has been instrumental in the development of various Yazaki programs including AutoWire, the Yazaki Digital Data Bus Concept Minivan, Scalable Modular Architecture, and Yazaki's Electrical Wiring Division Network System.

David earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. He has been a member of several associations including the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, Original Equipment Suppliers Association e-Business Council, the Covisint Global Customer Advisory Council, Society of Automotive Engineers, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He is currently a member of the Global Automotive Stakeholders Group.
