Yazaki North America, Inc. offers its full-time employees excellent benefits, including a variety of polices and programs designed to help our associates establish and maintain a balance between work and personal lives. The benefit packages listed here vary slightly between locations, but are typical of those offered in the United States.

Medical/Dental Benefits
Yazaki North America Inc. provides the option to choose a Medical/Dental package that will best suit the needs of you and your family. The comprehensive medical package includes health, prescription, vision, and dental insurance.


Flexible Spending Accounts
Yazaki North America Inc. offers two Flexible Spending Account options. Contributions to the accounts are deducted on a pre-tax basis from the associate's payroll each pay period.


Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Associates enrolled in our group health plan are provided with an Employee Assistance Program without an additional cost. Our EAP program is designed to confidentially assist our associates and their families in dealing with a variety of issues that may affect their health and well-being.


Life Insurance
Yazaki North America Inc. offers Basic Life Insurance as well as Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage without additional cost to you. You can also add life insurance coverage to meet the needs of you and your family.


401 (k) Savings and Retirement Plan
Our 401(k) Savings and Retirement Plan gives you the option to contribute a portion of your compensation into a wide range of professionally managed investment funds. Yazaki North America Inc. will also provide a matching contribution to the investment and a safe harbor contribution.


Vacation Benefits
During your first year of employment, you will be awarded vacation time based on a pro-rated schedule. Thereafter, vacation time will be issued as of January 1st.


Holidays
All associates are eligible for holiday pay in accordance with the company policy.


Sick/Personal Days
All non-exempt associates will receive 40 hours of sick/personal leave each year.


Disability Pay
You will be eligible for disability income in the event that you are unable to work due to a non-work related sickness or accident.


Voluntary Life and Disability
Yazaki North America Inc. offers associates voluntary whole life insurance and short-term disability benefits. These are portable, payroll deducted voluntary benefits and premiums do not increase due to age.


Education and Training
Yazaki North America Inc. will pay for approved individual seminars for associates who wish to better themselves in their field.
