Yazaki to Grant Local University Students Advanced Access to 2017 North American International Auto Show
January 5, 2017

In a continued effort to expose the next generation workforce to the future of the automotive industry, Yazaki is hosting their fifth annual Student Liaison program at the 2017 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. This year we will be hosting more than 30 promising students!

Hailing from 12 local colleges and universities, Yazaki provides them full access to everything NAIAS has to offer, including the newly unveiled vehicles and technologies, before the show opens to the public!

During Industry Days, January 11 and 12, each student will spend their day paired with a Yazaki engineer learning getting hands-on experience, while researching and analyzing future automotive technologies. Together the teams will gather information on technology developments and market trends. Communications and marketing students will spend the day learning about what makes the automotive industry tick, as well as what types of advertising and media go into vehicle launches.

As the future faces of the automotive industry, the students will be sharing their experience and perspective on social media using the hashtag #NAIASyazaki. Follow their story and next-gen insights on Twitter and Instagram by searching for #NAIASyazaki.

You can also follow live coverage from Yazaki throughout the North American International Auto Show Preview Week by following @YazakiNA on Twitter and Instagram or Yazaki North & Central America on Facebook.
